What is a 4LEFT Society Day?
Society Day is the event view that follows a golf day from the run-up through to the final recap.
Run-up → Briefing → Playing → Results → Recap
Before the event, players can see the information they need. During play, the event can build as scores arrive. After the final cards are in, the results and recap are already part of the same day.

Can players see a live golf society leaderboard?
Yes. Society Day can show the current leaderboard while the event is being played.
The organiser controls how much information is visible.

4LEFT records the handicap each golfer plays off for a society event, alongside the society's scoring history, rather than leaving it to a separate spreadsheet.
A single society handicap figure that automatically smooths and updates across every event is on the roadmap; today, the playing handicap used for each event sits with that event's scores and results.
A 4LEFT Handicap is not an official WHS Handicap Index.
If a competition requires an official Handicap Index, that remains separate.
4LEFT's role is to help the society organise the golf it actually plays and maintain the information it uses for its own events.
Can society members record their own rounds?
Yes.
4LEFT is also an individual golfer product, so society members can maintain their own scoring history rather than existing only as a name on an organiser's spreadsheet.
A golfer can photograph a completed scorecard with their phone, select their scores from a card containing several players, check the extracted data and save the round.
If putts and fairway hit/miss information have also been marked on the card, 4LEFT can capture those too and calculate additional measures such as greens in regulation.
That means society golf can contribute to the golfer's wider 4LEFT history rather than being isolated from the rest of their golf.
What happens when several players are on one scorecard?
That is fine.
4LEFT's scorecard capture is designed to work with normal golf cards containing multiple players.
The card can be photographed and the golfer selects which scores belong to them before saving the round.
There is no need to create a separate card just for 4LEFT.
Can 4LEFT show society results automatically?
As the scoring for the event is completed, 4LEFT can bring those scores together into the Society Day result.
Players can see where they finished without waiting for the organiser to rebuild the result manually after the final group comes in.
The event then remains available as part of the society's history.
What happens after the golf society event?
The result does not have to be the end of the day.
4LEFT can turn the completed Society Day into a recap highlighting the parts of the event that people are likely to remember.
That can include things such as:

- notable performances
- competition results
